Truck-Rules

General Truck Rules

 1.            Contestants (driver) enters at his/her own risk.  No passengers during pull.

2.            Weight that is added to truck for competition must be securely fastened.  Any weight falling from the truck during pull will result in disqualification.  Scaled weight includes driver.  Scale allowance of 50#.

3.            Any unreasonable or unsafe actions in the pit or on the track will result in disqualification.

4.            Truck may pull in only one class plus Modified Class.

5.            First puller option.  One time 100 foot option.

6.            Judges have the right to stop and disqualify any truck or contestant or ask for a truck to be re-weighed at any time.  All trucks subject to inspection before, during and after competition.

7.            Driver must register and sign his/her own registration forms.  Licensed drivers between the ages of 16-18 are allowed to pull, but will need their parents or guardians signature at the time of registration.  No entry fee money back after the class has started.

8.            No use of drugs or alcohol (in pit area or track) before or during competition.  No carry-ins, and a breathalyzer test may be required.

9.            Decision of Judges is FINAL!  Announcements at driver’s meeting supersede these written rules.

Stock Gas

1.            Truck must be street legal, currently licensed, and insured.  Registration of truck will be checked.  Must provide valid insurance card.

2.            Must be factory production truck with one factory stock engine and engine must be in stock location.  Must have original style doors, windshield, and windows.  Must have factory carburetor and intake manifold.  Dual exhaust is OK.  No headers or open exhaust.

4.            Maximum 10 inch rim (inside bead to bead).  No dual wheels.

5.            Stock type springs must be retained.  No blocks or tractions bars allowed.

6.            Max. hitch height 26”, stock location, rigid in all directions, 2.5” loop or clevis.

7.            No weight to be added to front of truck.  (Weight must be inside box or inside cab of truck).  Changes other than those above will not be allowed.

8.            All trucks, especially winners, subject to mandatory tech inspection at any time.

Street Altered Gas

 1.            Truck must be factory production truck with one stock type engine.

2.            Truck must be street legal.  Doors, windshields, and windows must be intact.

3.            Headers are allowed.  Open exhaust is allowed.

4.            Any single carburetor with cast iron/aluminum intake manifold is allowed.  Tunnel rams, programs, blowers, etc. are not permitted.  Scatter shields and/or scatter blankets and drive shaft loops are highly recommended.

5.            Stock type springs not required.  Multiple shocks are allowed.  Blocks are allowed.

6.            Weight added to the front may not exceed 60” from the center of the front axle.

7.            Max. hitch height 26”, stock location, rigid in all directions, 2.5” loop or clevis.

8.            Changes other than those above not allowed.

 

Stock Diesel (2.5 Turbo Max.)

1.            Truck must be street legal, currently licensed, and insured.  Registration of truck will be checked.  Must provide valid insurance card.

2.            Truck must be factory production truck with one factory stock engine and engine must be in stock location.  Must have original style doors, windshield, and windows.

3.            All computer chips and boxes are permitted.  One 2.5 turbo only, adaptor plates are allowed.

3.            No nitrous or propane – all bottles must be removed.

4.            Rear suspension may not be blocked.  Air bags must be deflated.  No strapping or chaining down front and/or rear suspension.  Stock type springs must be retained.  No blocks or tractions bars allowed.

5.            Max. hitch height 26”, stock location, rigid in all directions, 2.5” loop or clevis.

6.            Truck must have both front and rear bumper.  No front weight bars.

7.            DOT street legal tires, 35” height limit.  No chains or studs.  Front and rear bumper required.

8.            Engine must have come stock from factory in a one ton pickup truck, but it is okay to come from a different manufacturer (i.e. Ford with Cummins)

9.            All trucks, especially winners, subject to mandatory tech inspection at any time.

Street Altered Diesel (Over 2.5 Turbo OK)

1.            Truck must be factory production truck with one stock type engine.

2.            Truck must be street legal.  Doors, windshields, and windows must be intact.

3.            Dual exhaust is allowed.  Headers are allowed.  Open exhaust is allowed.

4.            Tunnel rams, blowers, etc. are not permitted.  Scatter shields and/or scatter blankets and drive shaft loops are highly recommended.  Rear dual wheels are allowed in this class.

5.            Ladder suspension is allowed.  Multiple shocks are allowed.  Blocks are allowed.

6.            Weight added to the front of any truck may not exceed 60” from the center of the front axle.

7.            Max. hitch height 26”, stock location, rigid in all directions, 2.5” loop or clevis.

8.            Changes other than those listed above not allowed.

Super Stock or Modified

Trucks must conform to all 2016 rules for Super Stock or Modified trucks as published by Pullers, Inc. or W.U.M.P.A. or Badger State Pullers or N.E.W. Motorsports on its respective website.  This is NOT an official points pull for these organizations.  Just for fun.
